Rhode Island Personal Injury Firm Visits Food Pantry

The Bottaro Law Firm, LLC recently made an appearance at Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry, and Day Shelter in Bristol, RI. The exciting collaboration allowed our personal injury firm to prepare breakfast meals for visitors of the soup kitchen. Upon receiving a tour of the shelter, we learned of the many opportunities of care Bristol Good Neighbors offers. Our firm was able to help organize the donations from food and clothing drives, while also setting up the children’s school lunch drive.

Bristol Good Neighbors offers a variety of services to all customers. For example, everyone is welcome to share a meal with them for either breakfast or lunch, both served daily. East Bay residents regardless of income can receive groceries once a month from the food pantry. Bristol Good Neighbors recently added Food 4 Kids, a service supplying lunches during the summer months for East Bay children who would receive free lunch at school. Our RI personal injury firm was able to work hands-on with this program during our visit when we helped organize and set up some of the school lunch donations.

Aside from food services, Bristol Good Neighbors also provides a variety of other forms of assistance. For example, clothing, hygiene products, and other household items are available upon request. Laundry, haircuts, and tax preparation services are all available for free through the day shelter. Additional services include customers being able to enter a raffle once a month to win a RIPTA bus pass, and during the holiday season families may submit wish-lists for donations and receive holiday food baskets.

As we could see during our visit, Bristol Good Neighbors offers a variety of options for food, hygiene, and family support. Although this was our RI personal injury firm’s first visit to the soup kitchen, food pantry, and day shelter, we hope it was not our last!
