ChatFor the third year in a row, The Bottaro Law Firm, LLC will be sponsoring the “Get Gored for Good” charity run in the Downcity neighborhood of Providence, RI. Taking place on Sunday, April 26th, the “Providence Running of the Bulls” is a festival and fundraising event that benefits Amos House, a charitable organization that fulfills basic needs and provides training and education services to members of the local ministry.
Are You Ready to Get Gored for Good?
If you haven’t participated in Get Gored for Good in the past, we encourage you to come out in support and experience this unique event for yourself. Based – albeit loosely – on the famous Pamplona “Running of the Bulls,” Get Gored for Good is a bull run where the “bulls” are members of the Providence Roller Derby. Participants in the run will check in and start from Waterplace Plaza, and then work their way through the streets of Providence to Burnside Park. The route is less than two miles, and participants are invited to run or walk as they choose.
The event culminates with a party in Burnside Park for participants and spectators alike. You can read more and register for the charity run on the Get Gored for Good website. The website also offers opportunities to volunteer, donate, and help spread the word about this important cause.

Amos House provides shelter and support for Rhode Island residents who are struggling through crisis, hunger, and homelessness. Originally founded to serve the state’s homeless population, Amos House has expanded and now offers its services to individuals and families who need help getting by. The organization focuses on helping its constituents become self-reliant through literacy, education, training, and self-respect.
