$600,000.00 Commercial Truck Crash Settlement
Our client suffered multi-level disc injury when steel I-beams fell from a commercial truck on Route 10 resulting in multiple cervical surgeries.
In 2008, our client was operating his truck behind a commercial flatbed truck carrying a load of steel I-beams in Providence. When the straps securing the beams to the flatbed truck failed, our client’s truck unavoidably struck the beams, causing his vehicle to skid out of control and collide with a curb barrier.
The collision caused our client to suffer multi-level disc injuries that required two spinal surgeries. Following the surgeries and multiple rounds of physical therapy treatment, our personal injury client was left with severe impairments affecting his daily functioning.
Our firm successfully argued for our client, and the two parties agreed to a $600,000 award in our client’s favor to include medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and permanent disfigurement.
