42nd annual meeting street telethon bottaro law firm gives back

Since 1946 Meeting Street has fulfilled its mission of compassionately and innovatively empowering children and their families to thrive by fostering the development of the whole child. Meeting Street was originally established as a school to provide educational, therapeutic, and developmental services to children with disabilities and special needs. In 2006, Meeting Street expanded and opened its nine-acre Providence campus. Subsequently, the Grace School was started and now children of all abilities learn and grow together.

A few weeks ago the 42nd Annual Meeting Street Telethon was held at Meeting Street’s Providence campus. For the past 5 years Mike has been a proud sponsor for this wonderful event and was thrilled to once again help Meeting Street raise $1,233,541 in donations, which is the most ever raised. During the telethon, Mike and his wonderful staff participated on the phone lines to help bring in donations. Mike was also happy to donate an additional $5,000 to Meeting Street and the children and families who benefit from the school.

Bottaro Law Firm Gives Back to Meeting Street TelethonThe Meeting Street Telethon is a public event open to everyone who wants to lend a helping hand. Families who attend get to enjoy activities in the Meeting Street gym, view online auction items in person, and meet some of the Meeting Street children and their families. Other sponsors along with the Bottaro Law Firm, LLC include Cardi’s, Citizen Bank, Dunkin’ Donuts, and WPRI. Without the wonderful contributions of so many people and so many businesses, Meeting Street could not help as many children as they do each and every day.
