This past weekend, Rhode Island personal injury law firm, The Bottaro Law Firm, LLC, was again a sponsor at the 43rd Annual Meeting Street Telethon, which was held at Meeting Street’s Providence campus. For several years, personal injury lawyer Attorney Mike Bottaro has been a proud sponsor for this heartwarming event, and was ecstatic to once again help Meeting Street raise money for such a good cause.
Mike also annually sponsors the Children Activities Room – a fun filled area where children can go and enjoy a variety of games, including a bouncy house and ball pit! He also participated on the phone lines with some of our other team members to help bring in donations, as well as donating an additional $5,000 to Meeting Street and the children and families who benefit from the school.
With the help of the community, Meeting Street was able to raise $1,094,091 in donations!
Meeting Street has achieved their mission of empowering children and their families to thrive by focusing on strengthening the development of their children since 1946. Initially, Meeting Street was established as a school to provide educational, therapeutic, and developmental services to children with special needs and disabilities. Meeting Street has now expanded into separate The Grace School, The Carter School in their Providence campus and The Schwartz School in their Dartmouth, Massachusetts campus.
