This past weekend, Rhode Island Personal Injury law firm, The Bottaro Law Firm, LLC, was once again a sponsor at the 44th Annual Meeting Street Telethon. For several years, personal injury attorney Mike Bottaro has been a proud sponsor for this gratifying event, and was eager to once again help Meeting Street raise money for such a great cause.
Mike and a couple of our team members participated on the phone lines to help bring in donations, as well as donating an additional $5,000.00 to Meeting Street and the children and families who benefit from the school. Mike also annually sponsors the Children Activities room – a fun-filled area where families can go and enjoy a variety of games, including corn hole, a bouncy house, face painting, and a ball pit!
With the help of the community, Meeting Street was able to raise $1,064,405 in donations!
Meeting Street has achieved their mission of empowering children and their families to thrive by focusing on strengthening the development of their children since 1946. Meeting Street was initially established as a school to provide educational, therapeutic, and developmental services to children with disabilities and special needs. Now, Meeting Street has expanded into separate schools – The Grace School and The Carter School in their Providence Campus, and The Schwartz School in their Dartmouth, Massachusetts campus.
