Our Ministry Care Team recently decided to give back by volunteering at a special organization that helps our veterans called Operation Stand Down.

At Bottaro Law, we encourage our team to regularly volunteer through days of service; in fact, we even pay them to do this during the work day. So we sent 5 of our personal injury teammates to Johnston, Rhode Island in order to help Operation Stand Down.
Operation Stand Down Rhode Island’s mission is to strengthen the veteran community while being able to give them housing, dental, medical, benefits, jobs, and legal resources.
There, they put us to work right away!

Their organization helps struggling and homeless veterans by offering services and housing necessary to their wellbeing. “A Hand Up, Not A Hand Out,” is one of their sayings.
The team worked on organizing and boxing household goods for these veterans. They cleaned and organized their food pantry, so that they can make room for new donations and keep it clean for everyone to have easier access to finding what they need.
